Ways To Listen
Browser
You can listen to KDHR straight from your Internet browser. Once you're at the homepage, you can either click the 'Listen Now' tab for the default set-up (on-campus using iTunes) or hover over the tab to select your location (on or off campus), your media player of choice (iTunes or Windows Media Player), and finally your stream quality (high quality or low quality).
KDHR is registered with AudioRealm, an online source for Internet Radio stations everywhere. You can create an account and make KDHR one of your favorite stations to listen to, as well as see up-to-date information on each song being played, purchase the songs from Amazon MP3 and more. Simply check out www.audiorealm.com and search, 'KDHR.'
To recap, all you need is an Internet connection, a computer with speakers, and an open mind about listening to music.
iTunes
There are two different ways to listen to KDHR in iTunes. You can hear a live stream of our station or listen to past shows available as podcasts.
[STREAM]
Navigate to the radio section in the left-tool bar of iTunes, then go to "College/University" and look for KDHR. The great part about using this method is that once you open the KDHR stream, it will forever be in your iTunes Library. It should appear close to the bottom of your Music Library, but you can search for 'KDHR' to make life much more simpler. This method allows you to listen to the live output of KDHR whenever you want; whether or not a show is being broadcasted live.
[PODCAST]
You can now take KDHR wherever you go. All you have to do is subscribe to KDHR in iTunes and all newly published shows will automatically download. You can listen to the shows from within iTunes or download them on your iPod/other mp3 device and listen to them wherever you want. All shows uploaded will be available for a week before a new episode takes its place, and newer episodes should be expected the day after a show is broadcasted live.
Livestream
Featured shows are uploaded to livestream for a "on-demand" service. Simply go to the Livestream.com/kdhr and search for any past shows from your favorite KDHR DJ. Also at the homepage, you can search for any and all video feeds that other volunteers recorded themselves. You can also leave comments and feedback at any of these sites for your pleasure.
